Not everybody knows that a hospice is there for us all if we need it - not just for end of life care but also for respite help and for support and guidance.
Stacey Towler from St Clare Hospice in Epping spoke abut the role of the facility at our Shabbat service last month. She also spoke about opportunities for volunteering and the constant need for more fundraising.
Ann Kosla, the hospice chaplain, also told the congregation about her role.
Later that day, Rabbi Irit and chair Lorraine took part in the hospice's annual Light up a Life memorial services.
