School Visits

Our Rabbi as well as other members of the community visit schools and colleges in Essex and Hertfordshire either for an assembly or for a whole-class lesson. We introduce the pupils to some basic concepts of Judaism, show a variety of Jewish artefacts and encourage them to ask questions about any aspect of Jewish life.

We also welcome visitors to the synagogue, including classes from our local schools, guides, scouts or groups of adults, for example from U3A. Visitors will have a tour of the synagogue and discuss various aspects of Jewish life and worship.

The Chelmsford group was also instrumental in bringing the Jewish Living Experience exhibition to Chelmsford and this has taken place every year since 2024.
