The Purim story was brought to life by the cheder children who had performed and recorded the festive story for our Purim party on Sunday. Everyone who came to the synagogue enjoyed the play, produced by Anita, which was very funny and clever.
Adults and children then tucked into a variety of tasty hamentashen and Rabbi Irit entertained the children with the megillah story.
On Monday evening we enjoyed the reading of the megillah in synagogue and then finished off the remaining hamentashen.
